Terms of Service

1. What Vuka OS is

Vuka OS is a workspace for DJs and artists in Kenya to manage their promotion: social content, events, smart links, pre-save pages, fan contacts and messaging, campaigns, and AI assistance. These terms are an agreement between you (the account holder) and Vuka OS covering your use of the platform.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password secure.
• One account represents one artist workspace; you are responsible for activity under it.
• Accounts may be onboarded by the platform operator on your behalf; a temporary password shared with you must be changed on first login.

3. Connected platforms

When you connect Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or other services, you authorize Vuka OS to act on those accounts within the permissions you grant. Those platforms have their own terms; you remain responsible for complying with them. We never post without an action you (or automation you approved) initiated.

4. AI assistance and automation

Vuka OS drafts content and proposes actions using AI. Consequential actions (spending money, launching campaigns, bulk messaging) require your explicit approval and are recorded in your activity feed. You are responsible for content you approve and publish.

5. Fans and messaging

• Fan contacts you collect through Vuka OS are yours. You must have a lawful basis to message them; Vuka OS records consent at capture and honors withdrawals.
• Bulk messaging consumes credits and must not be used for spam, harassment, or content unrelated to what fans opted into.

6. Payments, fees, and refunds

• Paid plans are billed monthly in KES via M-Pesa. Prices are shown before you pay.
• Campaign automation carries a disclosed fee (currently 5% of budget, minimum KES 200) that you approve before launch. Invoices show VAT broken out.
• Completed payments may be reversed within 48 hours on request, processed manually through the payment provider and recorded on a credit note.
• Non-payment never deletes your data; your account moves to the free tier after a grace period.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Vuka OS to break the law, infringe others' rights (including music rights), send spam, misrepresent metrics, or interfere with the platform's operation. We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why.

8. Support access

Platform operators do not browse your workspace. Where support requires it, an operator may start a time-limited support session in your workspace; every such session is recorded in your activity feed, visible to you, with the operator's identity and reason.

9. Termination

You can stop using Vuka OS at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms. On termination we will make your exportable data available for a reasonable period, subject to legal retention duties.

10. Liability and changes

Vuka OS is provided on an as-available basis during this early period. To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim. We will notify account holders of material changes to these terms before they take effect.
